One is a musician and author, enamored of art and the other has the brush his tool of choice, but a insatiable passion for rhythms and words. With their personal modes of expression, the two artists have forged a common language, echoing their questions. A conversation beyond artistic boundaries which they have chosen to extract a book, diary of a meeting between two lovers.
Collection of poems and sketches set rhythms, “Infinity” is an audio book designed by Stephane Carricondo – painter and co-founder of the 9th Concept – and the musician Medline – Orlando Diaz Corvalan in civilian life. Manuscript we discover curiously, eye and ear alert, it reveals in a hundred pages, the privacy of two artists, the osmosis that animates both the subject – the human – as the envy and the way to create.
Global Project, dedicated to overflow pages, it now takes form in an exhibition presented at the Arrière Boutique. Orchestrated by the pen and the metronome of Orlando Diaz Corvalan, the works of Stéphane Carricondo series of portraits marked ribbed lines, acquire a new dimension. Freed by the writing and music, the artist becomes more spontaneous, deconstruct its faces, erases, the better to grasp the essence of the other.
